Who is planning on going up to MB? I know some people are going to be up there already, and some people are getting rooms etc. I would like to go up just for the day on Sat. May 20th. We can meet for breakfast at Shoney's Summerville again, and hit the road from there. Is anyone interested in joining me?

I have to work on the 20th. KAT I wish i could make it to your B-day. I got your invite in the mail....sounds like a blast. Why couldnt you have been born on the 19th or 21st....LOL. My B-day is the 18th.....

Berry when I go up to Myrtle I'll have to come back that same day....work sucks!!!! I have all the odd days off in May. Let me know when you go so I can meet up with you if your already up there. Alot of the guys in the FireDept have got bikes in the last month or so.....we will more than likely be going up on the 19th or 21st.

Anyone game to go any other day than the 20th? I'm even willing to take a day off of work for this!

Also, an email was sent to the CornerJunkies myspace page from a guy in Newberry that wanted to meet up with us. Read below.

We are ready from Newberry to go to bike week.Just wanted to drop a line to see where you guys mostly were staying at and what are some of the things on the list. Like to meet up and hang out with you guys. We have about 10 people going and all are speed freeks. Drop me a line if you get the chance and give me some details. Be cool and be safe.

Man dies after motorcycle crash
From staff reports

* ABOUT THE VICTIMS: Rally deaths touch families, friends; sign online guestbooks

A man involved in a Monday motorcycle accident has died, the fifth life claimed in this year's spring Harley rally.

John Padgett of Greensboro, N.C., died Tuesday night, according to Grand Strand Reginal Medical Center officials.

Padgett was riding with his wife of seven years, Siena Padgett, when they were involved in a wreck at the intersection of 29th Avenue North and Kings Highway about 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Siena Padgett, 28, was killed almost instantly. Her husband had been in critical condition at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center since the wreck.

The five fatalities in this year's spring rally match the total from last year's entire 10-day event.
