Anyone down for another track day this Sunday, April 30th?
Jennings had the track rented to a group. Basically the group pulled out and now Jennings is offering it to us and a group from Gainsville, GA for half the cost for a normal rental. A guaranteed 23 riders is needed to secure the track. The entire track will be for just those 23 riders.
Guaranteed = rain/shine/broken bones/broken bikes/etc and you're still going.
Cost is $100 a head.
More details to follow.
The list is as follows:
1. Kenny Rodriguez
2. Randy Fallaw

Ok so if it's half the cost of a normal rental, why is it stil a $100? :shrug:

Instead of sharing the track with 100+ riders, you're sharing it with only 23.

Since this could be our trackday, we could also open it to other riders. So it appears to cost $2300 to rent the track - $100/rider for 23 riders. If we had 46, that cost would drop to $50 per rider, etc.

Well I got to practice here in Tulsa at Hallet. Not too bad but very similar to CMP as far as patches and tight turns. 3rd time out i was running 29s which was faster than some of the guys in expert class so I feel pretty good.
Whew well just got in... wow what a day 25 or less bikes on the track. New leathers felt great, thanks matt. Found it easier to handle the track with new leathers and new break lines. Kenny decided to show us a stunt show wheelieing out of every corner! lol
The morning was pretty ruff though everyone was running fast so wrecks were not pretty... 1st one was a high side resulting in a broke collar bone and sprang wrist. second...well there was a helocopter there.... the third wasnt an accident but oh god.... a guy didnt safety wire his oil filter and it blew off. slicking the whole back strait... we pored enough kitty litter to let every cat in florida piss on the track....Thus later constituted duct tapeing him to the ground.... pics later. Steven {the newbie} ran like a natural in his first two sessions however later platoed and eventualy got a puck down in 8. I for one got the shit scared out of me by that 636. it has never been more apparent that the bike can ride harder than i can. i drug toe threw most corners and ended droping a knee in the rear kink at 108mph! felt like a champ so i pulled in to the hot pit to find steve and go play with him....wellll that didnt work out to well. As i turned around to look for him i lost my footing and droped the green maching lol... frame slider and vortex rearset did there job for no damage {thanks steve at kws} all in all got more track time than i could explain...

:lol: Could have been worse thougth. I watched a guy in one of my amateur races on a exWSB Ducati drop his bike on the grid. He was romored to have paid 100G's for that bike. Ouch.
