Daytona Bike Week 2010

Who is going, when, and where are you staying? I missed last year's, and would like to go for at least a couple of days (last weekend?) this year.

I'd like to go for the last weekend (go on thursday, leave monday AM), but it seems like if you don't have a hookup your gunna get raped for a hotel room... Do you have a hookup for rooms?? :)

Yeah if you don't have a hotel by now, you're probably hosed. Saturday I rode to Titusville (across the bay from Kennedy Space Center) to see the STS-130 launch yesterday morning. Launch was a no-go but that's a different story. :hmph:

I didn't even think about the fact that there was a race at Daytona this weekend also. I called every hotel I found in a 25-mile radius and they were all booked. Actually one place said they had one single smoking room left. The rate was $154 a night at a Budget Inn. I said no thanks. So if you get lucky reserving a room now you might actually get one for a reasonable rate.

I've got the hookup (Diamond membership last time I checked) with Hilton. The last couple of times we stayed at the big Hilton on the beach, just ask Kenny and Matt :wtg:

If I were going to go this year I am sure I would just go to a friends house in O-town. Other than the short drive to Daytona it would be a lot easier.
