Yea I know Mike is a notch above. I'm hop'n like hell he gets his 15 =D>!

But I've been stay'n close enough to learn the jedi way, and Mike has been teach'n also. We've both been work'n are asses off lately and gett'n serious about get'n faster. Hopefully we'll both get some new times and our new toys will help us out.

All I know is I'm determined to make my lil R6 run as fast as that R1.... I got some work to get done... but it's mak'n progress :evillaugh:.

Weather is starting to look a bit iffy. How are you guys trailering your bikes down with the low temperatures? I'm a little leery of towing on an open trailer with near freezing temperatures. I've heard of several incidents where water froze on the way to the track and cracked the radiator, plumbing, etc.

as long as the temperature is above freezing, you will be fine.

Right - it's going to be right around freezing overnight. I can't leave until Monday morning so with the wind chill it could very well be a problem.

nice video- but it shows the problem with NESBA The way those guys pass is dangerous- no reason for that. They have had some bad crashes from their control riders not respecting the other riders abilities on the track. They also have a wide range of speed on the track at the same time- Again a dangerous situation for both the slow and fast rider. I won't ride with them again. Not uncommon to see 1/2 dozen to a dozen crashes/Off-track excursions in a day at the track with NESBA!

Just got back. I got there just past noon... and about an hour before the rain came :crap: Still, got to check out my new bike, and hang out with some of the crew, so it was alright.

Kenny was unhappy with the front end. We split off in Ladson, with him going straight to KWS.

I think it was Shaun that told me that the bike launched about 20' into the air, and it almost looked like it was going to clear the fence :eek:

He stopped by my house on his way home from the hospital and he remembered a couple of details about the crash. I think he remembers the backend stepping out and then being really high above his bike. I'm just glad I was able to avoid running him over.

Also he had his video camera on the tail section of the bike looking forward. We still dont know if it was turned on or not. But if it was that should be a good view of the tire wall at about 100mph.

The wrecked looked pretty bad and I am really glad you guys are ok. Jeremy I hope the ankle gets better soon. I was standing on the fence and watched the entire thing. I was thinking I hope they are gonna be ok and then noticed a primer bullet upright and hauling ass. It hit the tire barrier and litterally went up in the air 20-25 feet in a full front backflip. I dove out of the way and the bike landed about 2 feet from where I was standing. The bike landed upside down with the tail and tank landing flat. Bike busted through that tire barrier like a freight train. Never seen anything like it.

Jeremy you owe me a new pair of underwear!!!! Lol. I am just glad it was not worse. Get well man and you guys were putting on one hell of a show!!!

yeah, it scared the hell out of me because i had just come in off of track and was checking tire pressures when i heard a tire spinning, then someone downshifting as fast as they could, so i jumped up just in time to see the bike land about 10 or so feet away from my wife, kids and my mom who were standing at the fence watching the other riders go by.

1=my fastest lap@1:17:215
2=best top speed@168.3(gps based)
i don't want to sound like i'm bragging but i can't believe that I turned that lap out.i didn't believe it, so i got my wife to look at, it and she said i was reading it right. i wish i would have known at the track cause i would have packed up and went home right then instead of riding the rest of my last sesion

Might be a coll video and funny watching us scatter as his bike B-lined towards us. I would have given the bike a 9 for that flip. Glad he ok but what a site.

Update on Jeremy.....

I went by his house to see him yesterday and he is doing really good considering he is mostly confined to his couch. He will be having surgery on Monday to repair his broken ankle and will not be able to walk on it for 3 months. He also told me he would like to thank everyone for their concerns.
