Reminds me a little of Sepang.

Looks like it would be heaven for you Randy. A drag strip and a road course. 2 for 1.

So is this track like highpoint NC? Alot of talk and drawings but no real construction going on?

Exactly! I've been following this track for over a year and they still have broken ground. I think the plans have also changed three times. I'll really be surprised if it's built.

The new Roadracing World had a update on the North Carolina track. They said the County was going to have a hearing on the annexation of the property(Whatever that is but it sounds important). But evidently if they do approve it all they have to do is prove they have the funding and they can begin. It said they plan to brake groung In February 2007

But really , how sweet would it be to have 2 new state of the art tracks ADDED to our area? I am surprised they have sooo much water around the Jax track ...... I don't wanna have to wear floatie wings with my leathers haha

Maybe they will stock the ponds with fish for something to do in the down time. You know how big those Florida bass get.
