On tuesday night at hooters we were swarmed by 3 cops {small lot} they took pics of our bikes and asked a bunch of questions. apparently there was a chase involved and a bike was bing looked for... I hate to say this Randy but this is a lame cop out if I've ever seen one. Couldn't you have come up with a better story than this? Some N. Charleston cops harassed you guy's for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. None of you did anything wrong at all? All of you guy were just being goodie two shoes. Now your spooked for at least two weeks! Your not telling us something here. No one had drink there 4 pitchers of beer yet? Yea, right, and I just fell off the turnip truck! I know that for a fact that if you guys raced that it wouldn't be in Charleston, Dorchester, or Berkley county. So the harassing cops wouldn't be any where in the picture. It's not like you guys would do a run anywhere near a city or town. Treat us like we have a little sense. Just say you have a good feeling that your going to lose bad and that you just don't want to do it anymore, or I'm getting motorwork and I need more time. That would be better than that lame, oh the cop scared us excuse. Try one of these you just got religiously saved, or you only ride on the track now, anything is better than the one you gave us. The big bad North Charleston cops scarred us so badd, and told us that he was going to give us a big ole spanking if he even heard about us doing anything bad. Did he tell you that he owned this town punk! I not saying that you should run them, I'm just saying don't give out the super lame excuses. It make it look like your scared. Quitting is better!

He pulled me about 3 bikes, but when I got into some Rpm's I was pulling on him BAD. the 3rd roll on I stayed in 2nd and yes you guessed it Bye Bye.... Thats the truth.... Having said all that. My 1000 is F&*(ING STOCK!!!!! I have STOCK gearing as well. No a fat sprocket to get me out there. Thats why others want to do 3rd gear roll ons. No pipe. 100% unmolested. It doesn't matter anyways give me enough road and I'll run them down anyway... I wouldn't be suprised if Chris's Yamaha waxed that a$$

Just so there's no dispute, and no 1/2 second advantage, etc, I think a third unbiased rider is needed to give the signal during the roll-on. All three ride together, with maybe the 3rd rider hanging back a bit, and hitting the horn when the other two seem ready (i.e. are parallel to each other). Hell, that rider could then (try to) follow the other two, maybe even filming.

well the streetking has lost his title to Alan by forfieture always an excuse for the ex-streetking we all went out and had no problems oh and by the way i did run shane and we were neck and neck but alan the man that the ex-S.K. feared ate us up for now at least..............lut me play with my gearing so that i can get out there a little faster although i am not sure that that will work because he asa we all know has a suzuki it is a shame that the title was taken in such a way though ....................here is an idea though maybe next time if the ex S.K. shows up we can whip up on him and that zx10 for fun ...........

well, just my opinion.................yes, chris & I ran about 6-7 times, little bit more work with gearing chris & you'll be there; we did most of them in 3rd, he got the jump on me pretty bad a couple of times, good job, tried 2nd once........coul;dn't keep the wheel down.........but when all the smack started after the last stop, I beat chris............now with Allens 1k, it's fast, alot had to do with who got the jump, yes he beat me a few times, more than I beat him, so allen won that round,congrats allen. it was fun..............even though I got soaked on the way home. guess that makes me runner up for now.................lol

naa i've been toolin on the zx6. the zx10r is my street bike. Im not sure but i think im done withthe ten....maybe. i might do alittle more but it allready has enough power to make it tough to mannage in areas like down town and stuff. i dont know i may go up 5 ponies more but no time soon. besides i got to get race skins for the 6 and get them painted.

Everyone and there brother knew that they were running this weekend. They even called Randy while they were at the tree waiting. They tried everything to make him ride except to hold him at gun point. Randy couldn't possibly have any excuses! I guess that all of the taunting from Chris (The Big Bully), Allen, and Shane scared him off. I'm sure that Shane riding around with that 1430 cc on his little busa didn't help, plus it was rumored that all of them had the good gas on hand. It's was a shame that Randy used an unfair advantage of using race gas to win the title over Jason to start with, but then when everyone else does the same thing Randy chickened out and did not even defend his title one single time.
Everyone if you would, please give an applaud to the NEW KING OF THE STREET - Alan C. and his bone stock gsxr 1000. I guarantee you one thing, Alan will not have police stories, sick big toe issues, or any other excuses if you want to run him. He is a busy man but I'd be willing to bet that he would make time if you wanted to taste some of that suzuki.

what isn't stock on alan's bike? ....that's how his name is spelled. I mean, it has stock exhaust, stock air filter, stock gearing, stock swingarm, stock chain, stock tune, I'm pretty sure it has a stock transmission...hell he might have a 21 spd in there, I know back in the day he could wheelie his huffy pretty good....he probably kept that tranny all these years! I think it has stock air in the tires as well. Check out those clutch and brake levers, they might not be stock, he is sneaky like that. Really, why should Alan not be stock....I don't think he's found a need not to be. When and if the time comes that he needs to upgrade, I'm sure he has plenty green to do it. I think Alan is pretty stock himself, no upgrades....known him 25yrs.

Well, I must say It was fun. It seemed to me that when we ran, Randy seem to always get the jump on me. I'm not sure if his bike was just in its prime as far as rpms, or his gearing was better or whether I was just a little slow being that he started us most of the time. It was tough because he jumped me 2 to 3 bikes just about every time. It's hard to make up 2 to 3 bikes but my bike seemed to do it every time. Once I got into some good rpm's I started pulling back ground until I eventually crept by him( about 2mph). Never the less it was real fun, and I'm sure Randy enjoyed it as much as I did. However my bike is 100% stock"except for the MR9 I had in it" I SWEAR. The bike put out 162.6 on kevins dyno and thats it. I didn't even have it tuned, no power commander , no motor work, no pipe ect. The bikes that i've owned just seem to be faster. I really don't know what it is "ask barry I'm sure he'll agree" Anyways I enjoyed it. Props to all that showed on such a grim day.

I don't blame you Randy. It seem crazy that suzuki is making these machines like this. I say they shouldn't be sold to the public. However I know for a fact that Alan's bike is stock, but we all know that yours isn't. So what about the term stock don't you like when I mention Alan's bike. I think he even uses shitty oil, not the good stuff Mobil 1. I would hate to imagine if he spent the same money on mods as you have? Don't forget Alan that your bike made 162 hp with pump gas, not the good stuff, and you didn't even go in to have your bike tuned to the race fuel. I know you could get way more out of the MR9 if your bike was tuned with it. Your bike has the stock gearing, that's why Randy's bike gets the jump. Drop a tooth in the front and that little jump would disappear. Ask Randy how his bike is geared and you would be supprised. Randy your bike runs strong and well with all of the mods that you have done, but can't you just admit that suzuki's gsxr 1000 is faster, even in stock form. I can, and I still would buy a zx10. Hell, all of the new 1000 cc bikes are fast, it just happens that suzuki's is the fastest. Just think, 75% of the AMA superbikes on the grids are suzuki 1000's. That's not just a coincidence. These privateers such as KWS could go out and purchase any bike that they wanted to race. If you get a chance swing by KWS and ask Kevin why the suzuki 1000 is faster.

As far as Alan saying his bike is stock and he only did a base run at KWS to see what his ride is making. That is all true. Sometimes someone gets a bike out of the pack that is better than the others.

Your bike runs great, be happy. After riding your bike I really love the zx10. It handles and rides like a little 636 but it has that monster motor. Now with the styling of the new 10 I'm fighting myself everyday not to go and buy one.

I like the new 06 zx10. The headlights and dual high mount exaust is killer, and when they just threw in the ohlins damper, that was just over the top. I like the big bikes, but I don't know if my license could handle it, plus in a lot of ways I enjoy riding a 600 or 750 better. I don't even ride half the bikes that I have already, so it would really be hard to justify buying another one, but that doesn't mean I wont. Right now a new dirt bike is probably tops on the list.
Sell the bikes you dont ride to generate the funds for the new power house. just a thought.

There is a guy out here selling one for $8900 with 1900 miles in perfect shape. I am sure you can find one around there for about the same since people buy them and go ride, twist the throttle too much, shit themselves and decide it is not for them.

What this guy calls mods, I call useless add on's. They don't do anything to make the bike faster. Mod's and add on's add no value to a bike, in most cases it brings the value down. 8 k for a pee green 04 10 is way out of line. KBB trade in on that bike is only $5,025 and KBB maximum retail would be $7,000. You know what, since he added the headlight tape, magical mirrors (Type 1) and the matching pee green tank bra, I think this bike is a must buy!

yea we ran alot however i have allready got the word and now know for fact that That word "stock" is bs. I like what they have done so i'll keep my mouth shut however the word stock needs to not be thrown around so much.

Cross what line? So what if his bike was modded, which it's not, yours has always had the "mod" advantage of all the bikes you raced. Seems to me it just kills you give credit when it's due, but you love to gloat when you win. Yeah, you'll say 'congrats' but there's always some negative comment tagged along with it. How about just a simple "Alan has a fast ass bike and he beat my ass" comment?
