I would go but I will be in Florida and anyway I don't think I can be seen with a suzukpee. I also don't know how far you can get that damn thing to go without wheels.

Ok...I really hate my Fire Dept. work schedule. I have to miss the savannah ride...and now this one. I need to get with you planners and give you my schedule lol!!!! I do have Sunday the 22nd off for a tree ride. Hope to see you guys there if your not all rode out from Myrtle. Has there ever been a consideration for the tree meet time to get pushed forward a bit (earlier)? Just a thought......

Hey Todd, Why don't you start a new thread about when people can start meeting at the tree and include a 30 minute BS session so people can talk or get gas. Next thing is when it gets over 85 I am not going to stand out in the heat for an hour or longer waiting on people. Just a thought and to all going to Myrtle be safe.

I dont want to go changing the tree ride times and days just to suit my needs, but if anyone wants to move the showtime up a bit thats cool with me. On sundays I try to hang out with the family a bit and they are all sleeping in on sunday mornings...so thats no time wasted.

The month of May I can ride any even days (including weekdays). June any odd days. If anyone ever has the day off and wants to go ride a few hours in the morning or noonish give me a call or email me tebfire77@yahoo.com

Meeting at the tree at 1:00 on Sunday was because some folks had church.

yea thats what I figured....oh well. If I can get out 2 sundays of the month Iam happy anyways. I ride during the weekdays but riding by yourself gets boring real fast.

But hey...I'm up for leaving earlier. I'd rather do that anyway so we could take a break at Sportz Cafe and watch the MotoGP race, then back to riding again. Just a thought.

That sounds like a good idea to me. Do you have the moto GP schedule? Then maybe we could get a group to ride earlier, and meet afterwards to watch the race and EAT. Boy, do I come up with some good ideas! :lmao: I won't be here the next three weekends, but I'll be around after that. You got a bike yet Nash?

Ok so we agree to there are a few that share the same thoughts on an earlier meet time. I get off work Sunday mornings at 0730. Just let me know what works for the majority and I'm there...bright eyed and bushy tailed. I'll start a new thread to see what everyone proposes on a new/earlier tree time.

I get the bike on the 23rd. And yes, I do have the MotoGP schedule.

Your probably not going to have a lot of sucess of trying to change the time of riding at the tree. 1:00 just happens to work out for the majority of the people . I guess it's for multiple reason. One no one likes to get up early on the weekends, party people are still hung over, and some of us do go to church. I do still think it would be a good idea to try to get some of us together to ride early on special occasions like the moto GP races. However, the majority of the group would still opt. to meet at the tree for the normal ride I would bet.

Not to steal any thunder BUT i have a few riders that would like to leave friday around 130. Possibly later but shooting for 130 for the time being. My plan would be to meet up at the 17 and 41 gas station gas up load up and go. I have my truck which i'm going to try to squeeze two bikes in and a 5x8 trailer that can probably hold 3 and access to a larger 1 if necessary. Nothing is set in stone. So far it looks like I got the following. Add to it if your interested or whatever.

2003 636 - J
2003 R6 - Me
1996 GSXR 750 - Tony

I have a friend in Myrtle and she wont mind us parking our bikes in her garage if we dont want to risk them getting stolen.

Did I read this correctly or what? You are towing your bikes to Myrtle Beach? It's less than two hrs. away. Chris and these guys are riding to MB man. Not towing. What gives?

Yeah I think he is towing. However I'm not complaining. I need a way to get my bike there too. I'm driving my pimp ride and I think he's gonna tow mine to MB.

Yea I'm towing, it's barely a little over an hour from my house and I def dont have a problem with riding but my buddy is going who doesn't have a bike and some people dont want to ride everywhere I guess. I might even ride and have someone else drive my truck who knows.
