I'm sure it would be better than the hunk of junk you got now!

No way! It only has a 3.5L V-6 :nay: with an optional Eco-boost V-6 with "V-8 like performance" Just drop a 5.4 cobra engine in it and git-er-dun.

no, scott, the new interceptor idea is a bad one and ford is likely to realize they made a huge mistake in a few years. it's small, and is only available in fwd or awd. now the awd is nice, but not as easy to manuver in city and tight country road enviroment (kicking it around on a road with little to no shoulder) it is built off of a taurus chassis. there are lots of good aspects on the vehicle, but those can be placed in a crown vic. trust me, i'm not a ford man by any stretch of the imagination, but there's a reason there are so many still in use today. (when law enforcement are done with them @ anywhere from 200k to 300k, cab companies pick em up, they they are sold to whoever wants em) i've stopped some crown vics with more than 500k on them. the only problem i have with the crown vic. big, heavy, scary on wet curvy roads (hell, just wet roads for that matter) and the tranny can't stand up to the abuse we put 'em thru. but on the flip side (no pun intended) i like the crown vic big (i'm 6'2" @ 200) heavy, in case i hit someone or vice versa. now that dodge has gotten an idea what kind of punishment the brakes are taking on the charger and have gotten that problem solved, that is the car to have (with the exception of being in one during a collision.) they don't fare so well. the 2 cylinder drop at cruise saves fuel and the traction control will keep the rear steady and a button press away when you need it to break free.
