I sold the RR today and am considering a replacement for it. I am set on a V-Twin so the RC seems like an obvious choice.

you mind going to ohio to get a 05 rc51 for 5500? got a guy posted it up on another forum he wants to sell it to get a viffer.

yea, they have a nice one there.. but harry seems to think he can get over 7k for it... lol

its been there over 2 months.... i offered him 3k for it when he gets sick of looking at it. its been wrecked but put together right, and the factory-looking repaint looks better then OEM paint.... its the black one.

over 7? wow!

but, just like anything classic, i guess you need to factor in the ambience.
it is a very desirable bike... he might get close to that with the right person.

most on CL are 01-03's going for 5800 to 6500, might see a semi cheap one once in a while

If you were going to sell it you should told me. Could have shipped here and got more for it I'm sure. Shit is expensive over here, walked by a yamaha shop and the new r1 was 15k euro.

... you know, because you actually have to go through a licensing process to own one...

riding position, he is old and can't handle being hunched over but still wants a sporty bike
