Maybe I can work with some of you behind pit wall...just a thought. If there is one thing I am good at on the bike, it's my starts.

Next time we may not be so lucky and to be honest, I would be a little upset if my paid sessions were cut short because people wouldn't commit to the date. Unfortunately there is not much Kenny can do about this other than to charge more and to be a real dick and turn people away. I'm sure he doesn't want to turn people away but eventually he is gonna have no choice.

Thanks, the thing about the rain/grounding the bike is i have not bought case covers yet in which i would like to buy and install before i test my bike even more in the rain. I hate frame sliders on the k9 so when/if i go down ill just have to purchase a race fairing kit :evillaugh:

ok away from the weather talk. I would like to know how many of you are gonna be there Sunday night. The 2 Shaun's (shawn's) kitchen will be open. We are going to be doing steaks and corn on the cob. It will be really easy if you bring your steak and let us cook them. I am doing a big thing of corn so dont worry about that. Beverages are up to you but I will bring a case of water just in case. I really need to get an idea of how many people are going to be hanging out with us so I can get the corn order right. I know how most of us like to wait until the last minute to say something, but I am tight on the budget so I will get enough corn for the people that pipe up.

However, VIR was fun too. Sunday on the Patriot course 1.1 miles, 13 turns. The KTM was in it's glory. Monday was the north course. Sunny and 80 degrees. Morning went well, no crashes. There were 12 entrants in the lunch time race, AND THEN the last 3 hours were open track...........:D. 2 rain showers during the open track time. Dry line about 15 minutes later.

I would like to personally thank Kenny for organizing the event and providing the next step for my wife Jessica and I to take in our motorcycling adventures. Although I went down for the count in turn 3, the only damage done was a bent right clip on, a ride to the hospital, and a shot through my pride. Sorry Kenny, I would have let you ride my Buell if I would not have played in the dirt. I plan on bouncing back for the next track day. BTW, Jessica had a BLAST! Thanks again to all of the track crew that kept me calm when I woke up. Thanks for the reenactment, my go-pro got it all on video lol.

Yeah, I was knocked out pretty good. I am glad those guys helped me out but it would have been nice of them to spare the left side of my brand new bike. It took me a couple of days to get my mind right but I was pretty pissed when I saw that they just flipped it over instead of just moving it a bit.

I mean damn, it does have a kickstand, these guys are not going to get return customers if they keep trashing bikes and being assholes. I rode that bike as far as I could to prevent trashing it more than I did, I wish they would have just pulled me out from under it and left it alone. All I know is that I do not want to crash my bike again. Fairings are not cheap...

Bike didn't turn out as well though. It is officially a track bike! Already have the track goodies on the way. For everyone who went down, hope you have a speedy recovery. [GT04Mustang]

Well unfortunately, I was the first person down that day. Fell victim to turn one. Considering how fast I went off, I walked away with just a sprained right wrist. Bike didn't turn out as well though. It is officially a track bike! Already have the track goodies on the way. For everyone who went down, hope you have a speedy recovery. Thanks to Jeremy for hooking me up with a new lower triple.

:DHey guys. New to the forum. I want to say I had a blast at my first trackday!!! Jeremy talked me into it and now I'm addicted. My name is Allen and I rode the red 600RR in the novice group. Me and Gary posted some vid on youtube from his GoPro called Roebling Road 5-24. He rode the blue R6 in novice. Anyway, thanx Kenny for putting it on and can't wait for the next one...I will be there!!:new:
