I know most people here are not fans of NESBA but not too many organizations rent out RA that often. This is the end of May. If anyone is interested post up.
Dave G.- check out the Yamaha deal for new bikes purchased.

I was planning on calling you guys tomorrow to see if this could happen. I was thinking of doing the Sunday in the intermediate group since I don't know the track. I think $225 as non memeber for RA is not bad.
Barry, Can I crash at your house? let me know ad we need to decide fairly quickly so that it's not sold out.
Any word from Dave G. since he gets some certificates for NESBA on his recent purchase?

Hey Crash or course you may crash at my house anytime. No, I haven't heard about Dave G. going yet.
I'm going to try to make this one. Let me know which day you guys decide on.

How about May 30th which is a Sunday? I would suspect we should register this week otherwise it will be full.

He Steve I will be in Atlanta from the 16th to the 28th but i could stay another day or so. 29th would be better for me but i could do the 30th. Also i might be buying a track bike the weekend of the 21st so i guess that would be a good time for me to test it out. I dont get on here much so call or text me and let me know what you decide on

Just checked the site and only the begginers group are available. I missed getting into the intermediate because of being sidetracked. Did anyone ever sign up?

Crash I just sent Kenny R. a PM to see if he or Trey has any take offs for the SV. Maybe you can pick them up for me if he does?

Turned out to be one heck of a trackday. Crash and Dave G. were both super fast. I have heard a lot of negative stuff about NESBA in the past. I have to say that I they did a great job. This was my first time riding with the group so, I showed my race license at registration. So I was able to skip the beginners group like Crash and Dave. Dave only rode one session in the beginner group to get bumped to the next group up. The control rider didn't see Crash the first session, but he definitely saw him in the second session. So he got bumped up as well. I rode in the I group all day and had no problem. Everyone rode pretty good and held there lines. I don't like riding in the I group at Jennings, but with nesba it was cool.
I give the NESBA group a A+ for putting on a safe, well organized fun trackday. I definitely recommend them.

I agree with Barry on Nesba is great org to ride with. The control rider that bumped me apologized several times for not getting me the first time around. They were all easy to get along with and wanted to ensure we had a good time. The control rider that bumped Dave actually came and found him to make sure he got the bump.
The I group had some fast guys and all held their line just like Barry said. No problems.
As for RA, It was an awesome track just need some more time to get braking down hone the race line a little. I think I may try the CMP day with them the 12th or 13th.

For RA do you need to be licensed?
I dont have a license but i heard track days you dont need them. Plus ive never tracked a bike before so im sure they would put me in the beginners. (im not someone who just jumped on a bike though, and thats what kinda gets lodged into my mind when i think of beginner group)

Go to one of Kenny's track days first. They are perfect for somebody who has never been on the track before. The price is always right, and you will find that there are people there who will help you out and show you the way/lines and actually give a shit about how you are doing out there.
They are much safer in the beginner group than going out with 30-40 other beginners at other track days. You might be out there with 10-15 newbs tops, at one of Kennys days. Just guessing. Like I said there are folks that will come out and give you one on one help "IF" you ask. It's more of a bunch of friends having a good time on the track vs a big business track day.
Also don't knock the beginner group. It can be humbling when chased by a road cone on it's first day out.
Just my .02.
That's excellent advice from Greg. For your first time(s) to the track, you could not do better than Kenny's track days.

:lmao: Bwahahahahahahahaha :lmao:
Who was that crazy ass?
Kenny's days are usually limited to 10-12 people per group so maybe half of those would be actual n00bs. It's a fun way to get into the track addiction. I highly recommend it!

+1 on that. RA is alot more af a techy track so come to Roebling with us and take the first step before you dive in. It might be alot safer for you and will for sure keep that pretty bike looking good a little longer. I rode the beginner group not too long ago, and I have been riding since I was a kid . I have riden with alot of these guys on the street for years. When I got on the track it was a whole different story. I did track days back in the late 90s and I was still what I felt to be outa my comfort zone. Like we keep saying, there are alot of guys here that will help and show the right way. This will all be done in a small group rather than a 40+ group. look forward to seeing you out there...

I would agree with these guys about going to RRR as a first track day instead of something like RA. RRR is flat and good to get comfortable on the track before going to elevation changes on tracks like RA and VIR.
