I'm not speaking for Kenny, but our race team has a race at RRR on June 5,6, Talladega, AL, June 12,13 and Road Atlanta June 26,27. We are pretty booked up this month.

what do you need to get to race on those days? what license required?

Also how do you exactly get on a team?

For WERA, you have to complete a riders school. Upon sucessful completion of the school, you wear a green or orange shirt over your leathers for two seperate race weekends. Upon sucessful completion of the class and the two weekends, you are given a novice competition license. If you finish in the top 3 at the Grand National finals or end up 5th or better in the points, you will advance to expert.
For me, a team consists of a small group of us who pit together and help eachother when it is our turn to go out.

If you do a race school, I recommend Ed Bargy. Super nice guy and you will learn a lot in his school.

looks like a pain to understand. sucks to see more $ fees.

what ever happened to someone being at the gate and saying hey here is the fees for the club XXX 800$, now this is the total amount due for the track day 125$, have fun.wish it was like this nice and simple.

registration process and all that seems to be a pain in the ass.

Na it takes like 20mins at the track. just take a school, Pass it "they give that shit away" and sign up for a LIc and a race all the very next day.....
