Why the take off?

I was considering buying a set for my ZRX (180/55 rear though) from Jakewilson.com, but went with another set of Bridgestone BT-016's.

we are going to the mountains next week for a few days. just put on two new tires. i didn't have to take it off, as their is plenty of life left in them. just a superstitious thing i guess. besides, two new shoes to enhance the twisty experience.:rolleyes:

i had also been wanting to put my stock gear back in. a little less violent in the tight stuff, when a throttle adjustment is necessary. this also, made the decision to change both tires easier.

no beef at all with the michelins. prob the only tire that gonna go on the fz
