Mike,
Remind me of what your family moved away from in Poland...wasn't it communism? Seems like big brother is holding down the common man even more with this B.S.

Kinda funny they sited the cop shooting the biker in the back. It was the cops own in car cam that busted him. Which he has access to turn on and off himself.
If a cop does not do anything stupid or illegal then they should have nothing to fear. This new trend is BS I am glad to see some states writing law that it is legal to record police and not just leaving it up to the blood suckers and judges to decide when it is convenient for them to follow the law or not.

Yea, i started reading into this with the Maryland motorcycle incident... see, that guy is on 1000rr.net... and well.. it started THERE.
first he was upset that the cop, in plain clothes, jumped out at him with the gun... and he posted the vid.
me and phil on there goated him into posting the entire vid... and... it turned out the cop still was kinda in the wrong.
then... it went silent. for weeks.
until we started picking up court things and news stories about it.
Mike,

It was an oppressive government, squelched civil liberties, massive government propaganda, secret police, and dissenters (rightfully or wrongfully accused, it didn't matter) disappearing from the streets. Don't get me started on how much of this has become reality here since 9/11.

So based on their interpretation of the law...if your in-car camera films me in a traffic stop without me knowing ..I ask if you are recording this stop. you say yes...I say turn it off, I do not give you permission to film...you do not cut it off then I can sue you? hmmmmm

An update on the Maryland case:

"SEPTEMBER 27, 2010
Motorcyclist wins taping case against state police
A Harford County Circuit Court judge ruled this afternoon that a motorcyclist who was arrested for videotaping his traffic stop by a Maryland State Trooper was within his rights to record the confrontation.
Judge Emory A Pitt Jr. tossed all the charges filed against Anthony Graber, leaving only speeding and other traffic violations, and most likely sparing him a trial that had been scheduled for Oct. 12. The judge ruled that Maryland's wire tap law allows recording of both voice and sound in areas where privacy cannot be expected. He ruled that a police officer on a traffic stop has no expectation of privacy.
"Those of us who are public officials and are entrusted with the power of the state are ultimately accountable to the public," the judge wrote. "When we exercise that power in public fora, we should not expect our actions to be shielded from public observation.""
