You might try local shoe repair shops, they have the big sewing machines. I use Mac's Shoe Repair in Mt. P. but they are slow.

I can not remember the name but it is a shoe repair shop behind Simmons barber shop on Main St in Summerville. Me and Barry both have used him and he does pretty good work. I will be taking mine up there next week also.

I second that, he did the Cajun Kid stuff on My leathers and fixed a hole I had in them after I bumped some dude at 100mph. He also did Chads leathers and they look awesome.:yeah:

Tonya went and got a price to recover her seat and my 2 seats and mentioned corner junkies, he said never heard of them and the prices were 50 to 80% more then any other leather/upholstery shop. He knows about CJ but he is on the other site and think he held it against her.

i think hate between sites might have found its way into his prices, We gave him a chance for our business. Now I heard his shop is closed and he is working from his house due to lack of business. Not sure if that is true or not as I will not bring any thing to him from now on. You can try him for your leathers but as I suggest do not mention CJ site. Maybe Dan and Kenny's name will get you a fair price though.

He did my leathers on 3 seprate times and was always good to me. He came to my work and picked them up as well. Houser is a friend and I told him to charge me whatever he wanted it was always cheaper than the other guys prices. Also he is a Motorcycle guy so he knows what looks good and is in "style" at the time. :yeah:

Ever think you may have rubbed him the wrong way, or he was having a bad day. He said he never heard of CJ because when you mention discount to a guy trying to make ends meet, then you get the answer you probaly deserve. Houser is a good guy and does my leathers and will continue to do so as long as i have work for him. Amy, he will be fair and do it and do it well.

Dave Houser has closed his shop, but does continue to work from his home. I'm sure Kenny, Jason, and Patrick can attest that everyone wants a discount because they know you, or are affiliated with some club/orginazation. It is even more difficult for Dave to give discounts, good deals, because this is how he makes his living...and business is scarce for him right now. I paid normal posted price for my name to be put on my leathers. He did throw in extra work for free on top of it, but I pretty much paid full price. I got what I paid for too...excellent quality materials, and workmanship.
