The british superbikes just ran there a week or two ago. It is only about a 30 minute drive from where I'm at. I would have loved to have seen it.

I think we should build our own "mountain" after turn 8 at Roebling. I have a feeling I'll never get around to riding at Caldwell. I'll buy a case of beer for the first guy that clears the gap. 5 cases if you throw in a fist pump or a fashion air.

There's MX tracks in Harleyville and Pineville. Ya don't even need tire warmers there.

somehow a sportbike crossed up 3ft off the ground seems more impressive then a MX bike catching 12' air.

I gotta agree 100% with that.
Cadwell is 120 miles from here, but Silverstone is roughly 40 miles. I might go this weekend to watch an English co-worker race his Ducati 600. I didn't know they made a Ducati that small, but he had it in his van today. He runs it in a spec series, and is running this weekend at a track 80 miles from here. (can't remember the name of it)

they get alot of cool bikes we cant get here.
they refuse to sell any of the cool smaller displacement bikes here.. or any of the standard style bikes here... usually with the excuse "they wont sell here"
so we get people that get the mindset a beginner bike is a 110hp 600cc bike, and those people wont buy the cooler smaller bikes...
chicken or the egg problem.

Yep, they even made a SuperSport 350
I really wanted a ZX400r when I was deutcheland but they were highly sought after.

if you look at the one side shot with multiple exposures, he has 6 bike lengths in the air. thats like 40 feet he went in the air.
awesome
You can get some air at Grattan up in Michigan.
