Kenny I'm sorry but my transmission went in my bike last weekend at CMP. I have another motor on the way but I won't have it in until next weekend.

I called KWS btw to do a rebuild on my original motor but I had no idea it was so damn expensive to rebuild a motor. Just out of curiousity, does anyone know of someone who can do a supersport build without breaking the wallet? I was surprised to find that it wasn't much more expensive to do a supersport build compared to refreshing the motor back to factory specs.

Man are you posting this on the WERA board in the trackday section? If stickboy can get enough to do CMP once a month I think you would have no problem. You gotta go were the money is and it aint in here. GSB is another one you must post in. I think with those two boards alone you could get 20 riders.

I do post it on the wera site and GSB. This time I didn't cause I suposedly had enough guys from North Carolina. So I didn't. Shame on me. Plus when i asked who wanted to go here, I had 10-12 immediate confirmations, but recieved 1 check. No big deal, I'm still goin to the track.

jason 41

Yeah I see were you are coming from. You go out on a limb for the local guys and get burned. From know on it should be first come first served. Then when the locals figure out that the trackdays sell out fast and they miss a few. They wont be so lax with getting you the money.

What you riding at the track? you practicing for next season yet?

I still don't understand how some people can say "oh dude sign me up!!" as soon as the track day is posted...yet when we're all standing around at the rider's meeting, they still haven't paid up. Your name shouldn't go on the list until KR has the cash in hand. At least that's the way I look at it.

That being said...I wish we had more people paying/signing up so KR could keep doing these.

dis sux man!! Me and Brandon were for sho coming and I was bringin Jason too. I know he hadn't payed yet but it's that " I can always pay when I get there" mentality! I think that option hurts a little because people don't have to commit in case something comes up. Tony was coming too but he crapped a tranny at CMP last weekend. What do you expect from an R6!! HAHAHA:shrug: Oh well, we be waiting on the next one Kenny..:(

Don't know. That's all last minute stuff. The bike i was gonna run may not be available anymore. Matter of fact, the whole season may have just flopped. At least this way I can concentrate on Nicky, Hayden and Alec. They are pretty ready.

Melsik

I would say have a list of fo sho people but then not allow them to enter the track without paying. Ex; dude shows up at the gate ready to ride but no cash, well, that sucks for him cause he gotta go back to an ATM to get cash or drive his ass home. Do that and people catch on and pay for their shit on time and people that bust ass to set their schedule clear for a weekday can get their once a month ride on and not get screwed. We can't all afford to just go to CMP or VIR.

The way I see it. If you can afford a $5000-$15000 bike,$2000 in safety gear, fuel, tires and a way to haul your ass to the track you can easily afford to buy a "track pass" that consists of 5,10,20 tracks days. You pay Kenny for the amount of days you wish to attend in advance(contract binding to protect all parties). You could buy this "track pass" with a bud, ride the same days or not. Kenny could have a punch tickets(twin tickets just encase of loss of either party)to keep track of days used. That's just my take on things to keep people happy and friends.

I wonder if any one lost their job since they bought their bike in this failed economy or didn't plan on ever going to the track until their first taste. I know a few guys that have a bike and no car so getting to the track is a huge pita. Some people have family issues that present themselves at the last min, or can't take off from demanding jobs, or bought the bike and are trying to piece together track gear we are not all perfect but we try. We all know a day at the track is most def more than just 105 bucks but if you say your going, then take care of it. I digress...

Now that sounds like fun! Gonna start them on some dirt? or mini stuff? Either way it sounds awesome. I got my 50 if you need to borrow it to ride along side them. Mabye I will get a XR100 and come along when I'm home:D

Simple. If you don't have the money don't tell Kenny to reserve a place for you. I understand times are tight. Last time I seen Kenny he was too skinny to be Santa and too tall to be an elf! Now Kenny dressed as an elf...I'd pay to see that!
