Hey Shaun. It would be nice to have more people from Cola here. Last I heard the bike scene there is bigger than here. On a related note, things have been slowing down here, and not all of it can be blamed on cooler weather. Not sure what's going on...

News to me if it is... Then again, it's been about a month since I pulled the cover off mine. :crap:

I assure you it isn't because Chad isn't here.

It's because 90% of the people on this forum have lost their nuts and forgot what it is to ride. Everyone is always talking about what they are gonna do, and rides they wanna do and trackdays they wanna do, yet when the opportunity comes, they hide under a rock and disappear.

They talk about events that would be cool and when someone tries to make them happen, everyone all the sudden has plans.

They talk about stuff that they have no clue about.

They make plans only to cancel them because someone else is involved.

They talk about the great deals online yet local shops offer the same deal, but they rather order it than give the local guy the business.

It's because everyone has forgotten what this forum was made for and the majority are turning it into a circus.

Some on here are still "with" it.

Chad and I met up with some fellas in Cola last week. We rode completely around Lake Murray. The dam is quite impressive. Had lunch near the dam at a place called the "Dam Bar and Grill". I had a "dam sandwich", and Chad had some "dam fries".

The Cola guys talked to Chad and I about starting a sportbike club here in Chucktown, under their clubs' guidelines. I'm glad they got it together, but I'm not one for the bulletproof vests, and following rules.
Their club meets every Sunday and certain other arranged times for rides. I just don't see that happening here. The tree was the closest thing to that, but it has gone by the wayside.

Not real vests! They wear the bike club bullet proof vest look-a-likes, with the big club patches on the back.
