I just wanted to take a minute and give a BIG THANKS to Mike for keeping this site going. :cheer: These last couple of days it has taken for ever to log on. I felt like taking the fuel tank off my bike and throwing it at the computer. Glad to hear it will get better. Kepp up the good work!! :music3: :music1:
Thanks burns, I'm literally working on it as I write this. The current host, globat.com, keeps making promises (they have as long as the site's been up), but they've yet to deliver, so I've already started re-creating the site on another host. If globat doesn't step up by the time I'm done setting up on the other host, they're out.

Yeah same here. I know I've never met you guys but I like this place. I'm kinda out of the loop when yall say stuff because I don't know inside jokes  But it is still fun to read :chin:
I'm one step closer to doing my first track day. haha I got some boots yesterday. All I need now is a leather suit. That might be a problem because of my size though. :wall:

Just get them custom made. It's not anymore expensive than a nice set of Alpinestars, maybe cheaper.

What track are you going to try for your first time? You might want to put a steering damper on the girl.

Hey burns. I am not sure which track yet. I am guessing CMP if possible. I'm totally new to this whole LEANING THE BIKE OVER stuff. HAHA My boyfriend does track days/races but doesn't ride the streets. So I don't have anyone to really guide me, ya know? He rode with me a couple times last year and i learned a lot from just watching him. I ride by myself all the time so I don't have anyone to watch and guide like he did last year. I'll learn a thing or two by doing a track day. Can't wait.
I'm workin on tryin to find a steering damper. :)

What kind of bike does your man ride? Is it a mighty Yamaha?? :phone:
It does take longer for some people to get use to leaning. It took my brother some time to get use to it. And he even went down a couple of times. Trust your tires. Just take your time and you will get the hang of it. :tired:

hey nash. There is a suit at a local bike shop that is for sale for $120. It's a men's and of course it's too big. I"ve been thinking about getting it though then taking it to a leather shop and having them fit it for me. But I dunno. I think I'm going to wait and see if something else comes up

I know its not a track but a good place to learn to lean the bike over some is deals gap if you get a chance. Iknow that isn't too far from you. As for the suit check ebay if you know what size you need.
