I am not sure of his last name. This tall Black American man named Jamie who runs a bike shop on cross counrty road, was ran over this past Sat.
From what I have learned he was on Ashley P. road. A lady in a van had just picked up her children. All I know is she did not even see him but felt him as she ran over him on his Busa.
It is rare for me to see Jamie wearing a helmet. I do not know if he had one on when this happened. I was told he under went surgey for seven hour on his head and is in ICU.

I've meet him a couple of times. Once at the last dragstrip outting we had and then the last bike night that was thrown by Randy. I certainly hope he recovers.

Was it a silver Busa? I think I saw the aftermath of the accident on my way home from work. It was less than a quarter mile from my house- my neighbors thought it was me, what with it being a silver bike and folks not knowing one bike from another and all.

Hope he pulls through-- it looked like he locked up both wheels before hitting, judging by the tire marks left.

Yes that was him. One of my friends went by there after it happened and said all he saw was a messed up busa and a messed up van. and a bloody shirt.
I have not heard any more news of Jamie today.

That sounds familiar. I saw a guy on a Busa get run over by a truck 2 years ago. If she hadn't been screwing with her kids she probably would have seen him. That last statement is speculation but more than likely true. Hopefully he will be ok.

damn shame.

anyone know where his shop is on Cross County? I was going to stop in and offer my condolences and maybe see about sending a card over to his room or something, even though I don't know him it hits close to home, you know? Especially when folks think it was you.

I will pay more attention to where it is when going home this evening and let you know. I want to say it is near that big church but I am not 100% sure. The name is Pit Stop Motorsports I believe.

Any news? Jamie is a kick ass guy. he is always smiling and willing to hang with anyone at the dragstrip. it is a shame this had to happen.

I stopped by yesterday and talked to the other gentleman that runs the place= can't recall his name.

He's out of ICU and doing much better. No missing body parts, he's more or less intact, so he's damn lucky. Apparently she actually ran over his stomach.
