Just a heads-up. This could be an isolated case, or the beginning of a spree...
Wouldn't you know it... Kat's bike was stolen shortly before 5AM this morning. The thieves busted the ignition lock to get the bike rolling freely. They then made their way through the neighborhood where they managed to lose the bike right in front of a L'il Cricket convenience store. The clerk called it in (thieves were gone by that time), and to make a long story short, the wounded streetfighter in now sitting in DK's shop. My bet is that it's the same people that stole my 50 a couple or so weeks ago.
Damage:
- stotor cover is FUBAR
- ignition lock is useless
- tail section is also FUBAR
- left peg is crushed/snapped
- clutch lever is bent
- left grip and mirror are shot
- left rear corner of the swingarm is dinged
...all in all, not bad considering the bike fell out of a moving vehicle.
Anyways, if anyone has donor parts, especially the stator cover, let me know.
