Just incase no one has listened to the news. Watch out for pigs I mean cops on 17 heading to Beaufort. They have hired like 4 or 5 motorcycle pigs to watch that road. A lot of people are getting killed on that road.
They need to forget the tree huggers and widen that road all the way from Beaufort to the Hess gas station.

HAHAH widening it would turn it into an interstate. People would be hauling ass down 17. I got passes buy a Corvet one night late He must have been roling at a buck sixty. I think it would be a good idea to widen it cause I almost didn't have enough road to share with the Corvet

This might belong in another thread but I don't have time to search right now. Saw on the news in the city of MT.P and it could be anywhere else too. There is a white crown vic cop car. Unmarked with a taxi sign on top. So whatch out for the s.o.b. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's also a light blue Lincoln with stuffed animals in the back window, it's used for road rage traps.

There is no way I am pulling over for a damn taxi.

Saw a unmarked car the other day that pulled someone over on 526 in Mount P.

New Ford Explorer. Silver with dark tinted windows. Pretty much a basic Plain Jane.

On the way back from Orlando today I saw a light Grey Silverado Z71 Highway patrol. Had a car pulled over on 95, I never would have believed that one.

I ways seem to get these pick up truck around here that are cops following me. It reallys suck because you can not tell they are one. Knowing I was not doing the speed limit I am surprised they have not pulled me yet. ( knock on wood )

Wow...I remember watch 60 minutes or one of those shows like that about unmarked police vehicles and the legality of pulling people over. What constitutes entrapment? Pick up trucks now??? I would have to agree with some of the others about pulling over for a vehicle like that. There are people out there that impersonate police officers and long story short...they are crazy peoples that want to either steal your car or your ass or worse.....both. When I get some free time I'm going to do some research into this.

ummm, not so much. i hate the unmarked vehicles as much as the next but entrapment is defined as: **To lure into performing a previously or otherwise uncontemplated illegal act.** for some reason, i don't think that an unmarked vehicle would LURE you into speeding. it would be different if he was revving the engine at a light, then he would be challenging you to a race, or so you could try to prove. i know in some states, law enforcement vehicles are required to have lettering a certain height to actually stop someone. the unmarked cars have to be "assisted" in routine traffic stops. i don't think that applies to this state.

probably the nastiest undercover vehicle i've ever seen was in michigan. they were using a yellow chevrolet pickup (straight from the state's dot fleet) yellow lights and all. had a forward and rear facing radar antenna. he'd sit, run radar around work zones and radio the offenders description ahead. michigan made a pretty penny off of that one.

If you want to se entrapment just cross the line over into Dave's home land of Georgia. Those good ole boys still hide behind trees, signs, and turn all of there lights off while backed up into some make shift hide away. They still do it just like Enos, and Rasco P. Coletrain did.

when i lived in NY State there was a big thing over an unmarked car pulling over women and raping them. the state passed a law that if you where getting pulled over by an unmarked car to not stop! i was in high school when this happend. i think that they can use unmarked cars again.
